2.1.14.1 Maintenance of Way - Company Supply Train

Modeling Information.

Company Supply is defined as the transport of material and equipment from the railroad Stores Department to various railroad locations. That distribution of supplies can be by a railroad supply train or by individual car loads by a local train.

The WWSL

The Station Agent will identify the need for company supply operations. The agent will coordinate MOW movement with the Dispatcher.

The WWSL will use local trains for the delivery of sand, and petroleum products to engine servicing facilities, when possible.

The WWSL will use a MOW extra train to deliver bulk ties and rail to MOW section sites, and petroleum, oil and lubricant delivery to MOW speeder sheds.
