Nothing like events of the day published by newspapers and periodicals of the period to add to the credibility of the modeled railroad.  The Aberdeen Daily World and the Montesano Vidette chronicled life In Grays Harbor county.

Class 1 railroads had their own papers and magazines chronicling corporate and employee activities and the WWSL had one too - the Whistler !
