Company Supply is defined as the transport of material and equipment from the railroad Stores Department to various railroad locations. That distribution of supplies can be by a railroad supply train or by individual car loads by a local train.
Movement of cars
Movement of MOW cars on the WWSL will be done by waybill, per Rule 1156, setting a nominal value for the weight of contents, and
likely the particular maintenance job giving rise to a movement of MOW
cars would be charged on such waybills.
Track materials such as ballast and rail, as well as tools and supplies, will be waybilled to the track foreman at a particular location. Parts and materials will be shipped to the roundhouse machine shops, and parts for repair, or scrap material, can be shipped out on standard WWSL waybill..
Empty non-revenue sand cars will be shipped to and from Basalt Sand and Gravel on MOW waybill, at standard rates.
Petroleum oil and lubricant delivery to MOW speeder sheds, engine and caboose servicing and maintenance facilities will be billed on standard WWSL MOW waybill.
