The WWSL

None of the Class 1 regional railroads operated GE 44T locomotives in the WWSL operational area.

That said, I saw that Rapido Trains had pre-production ordering of their new GE 44Ts. The fact that they offered correct paint and details for the Milwaukee Road, the Northern Pacific and the Union Pacific was nice. I was more interested in exceptional running gear (compared to the Bachmann Spectrum units I currently owned) for my box cabs and AGEIR diesel boxcab.

I ordered three -  one each MILW, NP and UP. I will  use the Bachmann Spectrum superstructures / Rapido running gear for WWSL operations, and the Rapido superstructures / Bachmann Spectrum running gear for my locomotive display case.
